A friend of mine can't imagine her life without platinum. It is not only her favorite metal but a great hobby. She always buy something very cute made of this precious metal. Company's background

To give you an idea of what Jaeger-LeCoultre is, you need to learn a couple of facts reflecting the very attitude of the company towards watch manufacture and design. I can not help mentioning that platinum is an amazing material processed by the outstanding Companies, and Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of them.

The year 1925 was marked by the creation of a timepiece similar in some way to Reverso Platinum. It was called The Duoplan watch. In the 1920's, very small ladies' wristwatches were at the rage. However, extreme miniaturization always led to a loss of reliability and precision. The Duoplan brilliantly solved this problem. Its parts were arranged on split levels. The Duoplan thus reconciled elegance with fine watchmaking. It let to the creation of the world's smallest movement.

Reverso Platinum inherited the best features of this timepiece: elegance and sophisticated movement. However, Duoplan goes further, and its direct predecessor is the Reverso watch that appeared in 1931. In 1931, its swivel system made it possible to respond to the challenge set by British officers stationed in India: that of creating a watch capable of withstanding the hard knocks of a polo game. More than just a sports watch, the Reverso soon became an Art Deco classic and an embodiment of all the values of this movement. It is currently one of the rare icon models in luxury watchmaking.

You know everybody has always considered me to be a very original human being. All my friends say that I'm a unique person with a special sense of humor and attitude towards life. And probably they are right. I try to be different from others. I can even say that it is my life motto. Just imagine the situation - all people are dressed the same way, ladies' make-ups and hairstyles are alike etc. As for me it is very boring. I like to be bright. And vice versa I hate being unnoticed.

But believe me due to my style it doesn't happen to me! Never! When I go along the street people turn round to look at me once again. And what is the most important - I see surprise and admiration at their faces. I always choose original and beautiful clothes, cute shoes and different make-ups that correspond to my whole image. Oh and of course my hairstyle and its color can become a subject of another post. I always experiment with my appearance. But I can't say that I look too epatage and provoking. I prefer keeping to the golden mean.

One of the things that helps me be original and special is unique jewellery pieces. But here I should mention that I don't like simple and cheap bijouterie. I count on beautiful jewels made of precious metals and stones. For example I like platinum jewellery pieces very much. Recently I bought some very cute items. I love them very much. All of them are made of my favorite metal that is platinum.

As you probably know platinum is one of the greatest metals existed. Jewellery pieces made of platinum look gorgeous and are great for any outfit. They are not too bright and eye-striking but that is the thing about platinum I love the most. It helps creating some harmony in my appearance.

I'd like to share some thoughts with you. Recently I've noticed an interesting thing I never paid attention to. The matter is that being a fashion lady I've always tried to keep up with it. But fashion is not just a number of stylish clothing designers offer but a lot of other things. These are for example jewellery pieces and bijouterie. If I preferred simple bijouterie before, now my demands are much higher. Today I've started paying attention to more expensive and even designers' masterpieces.

For example, I adore jewels made of platinum and with some beautiful gems. My mostly loved precious stone is a diamond and the best combination for a jewellery piece is platinum
combined with diamonds. It's a very refined and gorgeous combination. And of course it's not occasionally the majority of couples choose platinum and diamonds for their engagement or wedding rings.

But recently I've seen something really amazing. I'm speaking about gorgeous bracelet. As you've probably guessed it is made of platinum and diamonds. But there is also something that adds a special zest to the whole item. The bracelet is also set with big blue sapphires.
To tell you the truth I was surprised to see such a beauty. I literally fell in love with it. The bracelet is very elegant and refined and gorgeous.

Of course it's not meant for everyday wear but for a special occasion or a black-tie event. Such a piece would look great on a Hollywood bombshell's wrist. Of course her evening gown should be in harmony with the blueness of the sapphires.

On the other hand I'd like to have such a great item in my jewellery box but on the other hand it is too expensive for me, moreover I don't have where to wear it. There aren't a lot of very official ceremonies and events in my life. Probably a wedding or something. Anyway I'd like to have it.

That blueness of sapphires fascinates me and strikes. Also it's a very nice color that calms me down.
To tell you the truth sometimes I look at the picture of this bracelet and dream about a Prince Charming that will soon appear in my life. Of course he should have all the qualities and features a Real Man possesses. And probably then he will present me with a bracelet I dream of and take me to a very beautiful event. What a nice feeling to dream sometimes. Why not to imagine myself a Cinderella story?

I'm sure you know a lot about this great metal. But I want to remind you that platinum is a precious churlish metal of grey-white color.
